Salary of an IAS Officer During Training and After Training

Recommendation of the 7th pay commission are permitted by cabinet on 29th June 2016. After that, the basic salary of junior level IAS officers is Rs 56,100. Here, we have described step by step salary of an IAS officer during training period and after training on the field joining salary.

Salary During Training Period

Basic salary during training period – 56100/- with @5% DA – 2805/-

Total Amount – 58905/-

Out of this total amount 10% will go towards for NPS (National Pension System) and also subtracting Rs – 2,000/- to 3,000/- per month for income tax.

So remaining total amount – Rs – 50k.

Out of this remaining amount approx. 10k will be deducted for others charges such as mess bill, food, uniform, horse riding, etc.

In Hand Salary during training period is approx. Rs – 40,000/-.

After Training on Field Joining Salary

    1. Pay Scale: Rs 50,000 – 1,50,001
