SSC CGL 2019-20 Important Dates
Latest dates for SSC CGL 2019-2020 exam are given below:
- Notification for SSC CGL: Announced on 22nd October 2019.
- Online Application for SSC CGL: 22nd October 2019 to 25th November 2019
- Admit Card Released for SSC CGL: 20th February, 2020.
- Exam of Tier I: 3rd March, 2020 to 9th March, 2020.
- Exam of Tier II: 2nd November, 2020 to 5th November, 2020 (Rescheduled).
- Exam of Tier III: 22nd November, 2020.
- Exam of Tier IV: To be Notified.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the various posts of SSC CGL 2021, Candidates have to be sure that they possess or fulfill all eligibility conditions like age limit, educational qualification, citizenship, etc. Therefore, check all eligibility criteria of SSC CGL 2021 for various posts that have been shown below:
- Nationality: Must have Citizenship of India.
- Limitation of Age: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) limits age range between 18 – 32 years.
Age Limit:
The age limit for various posts under SSC CGL 2020 has been categorized into 5 groups, which are mentioned in the below table:

Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation is also given to some certain reserved categories like:
- OBC Category: 3 Years
- ST/SC: 5 Years
- PH + Gen: 10 Years
- PH + OBC: 13 Years
- PH + SC/ST: 15 Years

Educational Qualification:
Must have completed Bachelor Degree from a recognized University or Board.
The essential educational qualifications for SSC CGL 2021 are given below according to posts:
- Post Name: Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer
Qualification:
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant/ Company Secretary/ Masters in Commerce/ Masters in Business Studies/ Masters in Business Administration (Finance)/ Masters in Business Economics.
- During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit/ Accounts Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
2. Post Name: Junior Statistical Officer
Qualification:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Math at 12th standard level. or
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
3. Post Name: Statistical Investigator Grade-II
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. Applicants must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course.
4. Post Name: All other Posts
Qualification:
Applicants must have a bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
