The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a medical entrance exam of the national level. This entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

After passing the NEET entrance exam, students can take admission in MBBS/BDS course from MCI/DCI recognized college. The NEET  entrance exam will be conducted for a total of 720 marks, in which a total of 180 questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Botany.

NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Medical candidates are required to fulfill certain eligibility to appear in the examination. Application forms of unqualified candidates are not accepted, so candidates are advised through the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria listed below.

  • Indian citizens, OCI, PIO, NRI, and foreign candidates will be eligible to apply.
  • The minimum age limit will be 17 years.
  • Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
  • In the qualifying examination, students should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English subjects.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks (for General), 45% marks (for General PH) and 40% marks for SC/ST and OBC candidates in the PCB stream.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

NEET 2021 Application Form

Online Registration

To use the application form, register on the NEET website. you’ll get your ID and password on the registered email id or mobile number for future login.

Application Form Fill Up

Fill the specified details like personal details, choice of examination center, educational details, and parent’s address and details.

Uploading Documents

After cautiously filling the above details, upload your recent color passport size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb. Check photograph and signature specifications:

  • Candidate’s passport size photograph should be in JPG/JPEG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 200Kb.
  • Candidate’s signature should be in JPG/JPEG format and Image size should be between 4Kb to 30Kb.
  • Candidate’s Left Hand Thumb should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 50Kb
  • The Class 10th Certificate of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 100Kb to 300Kb.
  • Candidate’s Post Card Size Photograph should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 50Kb to 300Kb.

NEET  2021 Exam Pattern

  • Exam Date: The examination will be conducted on first week of May , 2021.
  • Mode of Exam: The examination will be conducted through offline (pen-paper based exam).
  • Types of Questions: There will be objective type questions in the exam.
  • Duration: The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours.
  • Several Questions: A total of 180 questions will be asked.
  • Language: The question paper will be asked in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, and Kananda languages.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

NEET 2021 Admit Card

After completing the application process, the NAT will be released the admit card for those candidates who will successfully submit the application form. The admit card will be published at the official website of NAT in April 2021.

NEET 2021 Counseling

NEET 2021 Counseling Round will be organized by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) at the All India level. Counseling will be conducted online. To join the counseling round, students must first register themselves and choose the course and college as per their wish. After this, candidates will be given seat allotment result by MCC.

The candidates who will be selected will have to get document verification after which the final admission will be completed. At the time of counseling document verification round, you will have to take an original and photo copy of all your required documents. Like
