National electronic funds transfer is the most secure service that allows money transfer electronically.

Timing: Monday to Friday 8AM-6.30PM and Saturday 8AM – 12PM

Limit: No minimum or maximum limit of amount.

  • Between ₹ 10,000 – 1 lakh: ₹ 5.00
  • Between ₹ 1 – 2 lakhs: ₹ 15.00
  • Between ₹ 2 – 10 lakhs: ₹ 25.00

II) RTGS:

RTGS stands for Real Time Gross settlement.

Timing: Monday to Friday 9AM-4.30PM and Saturday 9AM -2PM

Limit: Minimum ₹ 2 lakhs with no upper limit

Charges:

  • Between ₹ 2-5 lakhs: ₹ 30.00
  • Above ₹ 5 lakhs: ₹ 55.00

III) IMPS:

Immediate Payment Service enables anywhere and anytime fund transfer.

Timing: Can be used 24X7

Limit: No limit. 

Charges:

  • Up to ₹ 1 lakh: ₹ 5.00
  • Between ₹ 1 – 2 lakhs: ₹ 15.00

Be cautious while filling the IFSC:

It is very necessary to be careful while entering the IFSC for any transaction. Having same account number of two banks is rare but not impossible.

Last year the second largest bank of India, PNB merged with Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India. Recently PNB announced existing Bank IFSC code will not work from 30th June 2021.
